Other members of United Aircraft at the time included Boeing, United Airlines, Sikorsky, and Pratt & Whitney. Hamilton became the largest manufacturer of aircraft propellers in the world, even used by Charles Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis aircraft in his historic solo crossing of the Atlantic Ocean.
