Our Mission
We are a composite of many levels of active and retired aviation personnel, a collective of aeronauts, so to speak. A network of veterans, military and civilian flight crews, instructors, engineers, ground crews, maintainers, astronauts, aviation photographers, air show performers, announcers, controllers, and aviation personnel of all types. Aeronautically speaking, we are greater than the sum of our parts.
We celebrate the honour and valour of all those who have carried aviation through the years, allowing us to reach ever higher. We welcome you to share in our passion and celebration of the gift given to us through the commitment, struggles, and sacrifices of all those aviators who have come before us.
Our mission is to tell the great tales of aviation history and honour the memories of aviators past, the aircraft they flew, and the missions they were assigned. Our museum collection of vintage aviation shirts and crew caps brings the history of flight to life and allows the wearer to help tell the tale.
The Sierra Hotel Aeronautics Aviation and Space Decal Collection is widely known for its historical authenticity, accuracy and exceptional quality. Produced in North America using premium-grade vinyl and durable inks, our decals are built to perform in demanding real-world conditions.
Over the years, Sierra Hotel Aeronautics has supplied markings for a wide range of military and civilian aircraft—from Apache gunships and historic warbirds to GA puddle jumpers. Although the materials used for those applications had to be specifically certified for flight, decals from our regular collection have appeared on virtually every type of vehicle imaginable, including aircraft, race cars, motorcycles and boats. Air, land and sea, surviving extreme climates at nearly every latitude and every altitude.
