Sadly, 2024 marks the last year and final air show season that we will be able to join the very best of the best of the best of Air show announcers...Rob "8.5" Reider will be putting down his microphone after 18 continuous years at air show centre. Grammy Award-winning, Honorary Blue Angel, Honorary US Army Golden Night, Honorary Thunderbird, and recipient of the ICAS Sword Of Excellence.
We are thrilled for Rob to be ending such a successful career as the finest of show announcers who was widely regarded as "The Voice of the Airshow" Sadly, his voice over the PA system, and his welcoming presence will be greatly missed by all in the air show family as he leaves centre stage, but we know he will be on to better things! Enjoy your well-deserved retirement Rob!
